Variable Speed Limits

Really what is the point of the variable speed limits in Melbourne? they slow down already slow traffic to below the speed of the limit ie, I am driving in a 100 zone and we are coming passed an on ramp traffic slows to 80 just because they are all inept merging into traffic (I can almost live with that) but instead in Melbourne that decide to use the variable speed limit to change the limit to 80 and as a result the traffic slows to 60. When I was in the ACT they didn't have this variable speed limit and we all did just fine. Wouldn't the congestion be elevated by just leaving the speed limit alone? And if drivers were to have a bingle they would be off the road further elevating the congestion as well as providing needed jobs for Insurers and smash repairers.

I feel like I am living a lie

I really do I so want to discover myself, what if what I am dreaming of is not me is not what I want. If I am not able to discover, to try, to experience how will I ever know. Maybe I am not living a lie maybe this is the life I will want but I will never know if I yern for other things.

Good on Centrelink!

WOW! I never thought I'd ever say that. Centrelink have decided to acknowledge same sex partnerships. Now if only they would acknowledge Polyamorous cohabitation the world would look a little fairer.

What Is the Polyamorous Community Doing?

I am at odds with the poly community, although I am just a surface dweller .oO(as I am not engaged freely in poly relations and am a shy anxiety ridden introvert who I guess people think sits in the corner and talks to no one because he wants to) it seems that they are focused on in house events or queer events when it is the community at large that are not accepting. I think I will raise the idea of Polyamory Activism at the next meeting this Tuesday. I understand that they made a 6 minute doco, I also understand that this oportunity fell in their lap and has only been shown at poly functions and a queer film festavles which in my belief is just preaching to the choir. I understand that outing yourself to the wider community would be a difficult decision to make but why make a documentry in the first place if not to educate people.
